Utah Tech University Students Create Wedding Rings
The Utah Tech University course Design for Additive Manufacturing has a unique approach to finals week. Students spend the semester designing, manufacturing and producing rings fit for a wedding. They also create ring boxes to accompany their rings. After all the work is said and done, professor David Christensen invites members of campus and local jewelers to judge the designs, with a catch. Any student whose designs were judged higher than Christensen's would get extra credit in the course.

Dixie State University basketball player, Emily Isaacson, excels off the court with a perfect score on the Certiport Microsoft Office exam
Dixie State University freshman, Emily Isaacson, received a perfect 1000/1000 score on the Certiport Microsoft Office Specialist Word Exam, and has been selected to represent Utah at the Certiport U.S. National Championship competition in 2021. Isaacson, who is also a member of the DSU women's basketball team, will have the opportunity to travel to Orlando, Florida next June to compete with other state champions from across the United States.
